We will hold a round-table-talk with a German interpreter on August 31 starting 18:50 (admission free)

Learn how to connect the world through words by listening to real experiences
from a German-Japanese interpreter

How can you become an interpreter for German-Japanese?

There are plenty of schools that teach you how to become an interpreter for English-Japanese, however, there is only little information for other languages.

In August a German-Japanese interpreter will visit us for a round-table-talk. You can listen to first-hand experience from someone that is top in the field. This will surely be a great input for everyone that studies German.

Even if you are not aiming to become a professional interpreter, there are so many situations in everyday life, travel and at work where someone is needed to bridge between languages.

Admission for this event is of course free. Free drinks and snacks will be provided too. Don’t miss this chance!

Please note that the talk will be held in Japanese, but English speaking staff is available.

After graduation, she studied teaching German as a foreign language at the Dresden University of Technology. While being enrolled in university she participated in the German education activities and accumulated experience in public seminars, at the university itself and private lessons. At the same time, she also worked as interpreter for companies, research institutes and official institutions.

After graduation with a Master’s degree, she joined the Europe branch of Kikkoman Group、Japan Food Corporation and keened her international and intercultural negotiation skills further.
